We set up MyHomeSorted last year following the Summer of 2018. Both of us had extensive experience with Airbnb and our property in South East London. We decided to travel for 3 months partly using Airbnb which was all great but then realised we needed help in between guests staying, checking-in/out and refresh of linens, cleaning etc. Lots involved!

It actually created a bit of a worry as we had the lock-box but would the guests be able to open the lock-box, how would they access the property and more importantly would they leave the property in the same condition it was left in! These are the worries that we encountered and I know a lot of our current customers face too.

We looked for a local company to manage our property and there were just a few. The larger Airbnb Property management companies did not cover our area and smaller companies needed a minimum of 3 months of bookings. So it was very tricky – in the end we managed to cover it thanks to understanding cleaners and family members but not ideal.

Our trip-of-a-lifetime took place last year over South America covering Peru (climbing Machu Picchu) Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil – incredible time realising we needed to do this and set up our own company. We have since had great interest and currently growing the business. You really don’t need to worry about your property at all when you are on holiday or travelling and it really does help with the expenses. With my extensive experience in 5* Hotels including Marriott County Hall for 4 years, Hospitality, Marketing & PR coupled with Cev’s experience in Hotels with a Finance background and Airbnb Superhost – we thought with the popularity of Airbnb this was the perfect opportunity. Since then we are looking after properties in Notting Hill/Portobello, Earls Court, Maida Vale, East London to name but a few. We will look after properties across London from zones 1-4.
